Spice Cookies  1 spice cake mix 2 eggs 1/3 cup vegetable oil  Combine all ingredients until cake mix is evenly wet. Dough will be stiff, pulling away from the sides of the bowl and leaving the bowl clean. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 -10 minutes. I just had to stop and take a picture. Eventually the log will decay and then the live tree will have open arches between it and the ground.

Lily with textural overlay This is my first attempt at doing a textural overlay. The texture, taken by me, was a wooden fence at Chaffey Zoo in Fresno. I finally finished photoshopping and posting on Flickr my photos from the 2008 Kinetic Sculpture Race's  Arcata to Ferndale Grand Championship. I was able to learn some new Photoshop skills to correct what was a very difficult shooting situation. There was a lot of bright, glaring, overcast sky. The shadows and contrast were not harsh, but the bright sky seemed to be the 'focus' of each photo.
