Million Dollar Fudge

 Million Dollar Fudge

1/2 cup butter
4 1/2 cups sugar
12 ounces evaporated milk

12 ounces chocolate chips
                  (I use minis for faster melting)
7 ounces marshmallow creme
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Bring butter, sugar and milk to a full rolling boil in a heavy 4 quart sauce pan, stirring constantly.

Boil 5 minutes over medium heat stirring constantly to prevent scorching

Remove from heat.
Gradually stir in chocolate chips until melted.
Add remaining ingredients and beat until well blended

Pour into a 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
Cool, cut into squares
Yield: 6 pounds of fudge
